Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) has signed MOU with Xavier University – School of Medicine (XU-SOM) by virtue of which
students of XU-SOM would enroll for various programs in CDU.
These programs are
- BS + MD (all years done in CDU)
- BS + MD (Clinical rotations of last 36 weeks done in USA)
- Allied health Science programs (all years done in CDU)
- Allied health Science programs (Final year done in USA)
About XU-SOM
Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM), Bonaire, a Caribbean medical school located in the Netherlands Antilles,
was founded by physicians who practice and teach clinical medicine and basic sciences in the United States. Xavier
University School of Medicine, Bonaire is recognized by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG),
World Health Organization (WHO), Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research/International
Medical Education Directory (FAIMER/IMED) and the Medical Council of Canada (MCC).
Xavier University School of Medicine, Bonaire is one of the very few Caribbean medical schools whose members of its Board
of Trustees are primarily U.S. physicians. We possess experience, knowledge, and resources that are needed to provide our
students with thorough basic medical instruction on our Bonaire campus and clinical rotations in U.S. teaching hospitals.
Xavier University School of Medicine has its admissions office in Ohio, USA and its campus in Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles.

Why XU-SOM/ ALLTERE
- Shall bring in adjunct faculty from Abroad for specialized training.
- Shall provide the clinical rotations in USA.
- Shall provide online USMLE training to students.
- The students shall also be monitored by an Additional Dean As appointed by Xavier University.
- Students study for 3 years of MD in Philippines and transfer to XU-ALLTERE Affiliated Clinical sites in USA or UK for the 4’Th year.
- Shall support on all documentation for visa.
