The College of Pharmacy was instituted in 2004 offering only the subjects in the first year level of the 4-year B.S. Pharmacy Curriculum, with only 14 students. Before CDC (then) was inspected by CHED RQUAT of Region 7, Dr. Leticia Gomez Cabrera was appointed as Dean of the College few days before the visit. After the successful compliance with RQUAT comments, CDU was authorized by CHED to offer subjects in the first year level.
In 2005 CDC became CDU. On November 26, 2007 the CDUCP received recognition from the CHED. On March 2008 the first batch of B.S. Pharmacy will graduate. CDUCP has 97 students from first to fourth year during 2nd semester 2007-2008.
