Vision

Cebu Doctors’ University College of Rehabilitative Sciences (CDUCRS) envisions itself as a dynamic institution of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy in the Philippines, producing graduates who are competent, compassionate, dedicated, socially-conscious, nationalistic and God-centered.

Mission

  1. Develop globally competitive Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy professionals who could serve and render quality health care to the community.
  2. Instill compassion and dedication in its graduates, and a willingness to serve the disabled filipino.
  3. Consistently produce board topnotchers and maintain an excellent performance in the Philippine Licensure Examination for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
  4. Uphold the standard of quality education by being recognized in all national and international accrediting bodies.
  5. Generate meaningful and relevant research outputs that will benefit the community and improve the rehabilitation profession.

Goal

Educate the students to become theoretically and clinically competent Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists, who can render the full spectrum of healthcare required of them in a In-patient or Out-patient setting,and a community-based setting.

Objectives

  1. Provide students with the atmosphere, instruction and learning experiences for the basic arts and life sciences required as a foundation necessary in the training of Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists
  2. Train students in analyzing a problem critically, solving it and planning a management protocol
  3. Enable students to become mature, responsible therapists with strong commitment to their professional values and code of ethics
  4. Help students to develop the desire to constantly seek further intellectual and psychological growth
  5. Foster among students and faculty, the scientific method of thinking and research, and to encourage intellectual growth by means of inquiry, experimentation and deductive reasoning
  6. Provide students with adequate exposure to the rehabilitative needs of the community so as to foster an awareness and a commitment to the service of God and country:
  1. Provide facilities for a community based rehabilitation program to service patients who are indigent or who live in farflung areas
  2. Institute a patient education program for early detection, prevention and home care of disabled patients
  3. Esablish a continuing education program for barangay health workers with emphasis on caring for the disabled
  4. Expose the students to various aspects of elderly home care, achieving a more holistic attitude towards the care of the aged, and nurturing the true Filipino trait of concern for these individuals
